A large private company with over 20 locations worldwide, counting almost 1.000 devices, wanted to obtain a global overview of lease / service-agreements, usage, costs, and to define purchasing need besides finding potential savings.

The Process


3manager was installed in every country to discover equipment on the different network. All information was stored centrally and processed. All contracts and cost information was entered in 3manager to complete the data structure. From here 3manager began diagnosing.

Every unit was being analyzed to find out, if it should be replaced or removed from 3 criteria:

  • Can we save money by purchasing new equipment?
  • If not - which location is most optimal regarding load?
  • The devices must have at least 2 years in “end of life” when moved to the new location.

 

The Result


Already after 3 month the company had a complete overview of equipment, costs, usage and buying need.

  • 970 devices were registered in total.
  • 340 devices were registered as overcapacity and will be removed/transferred.
  • Procurement needs were assessed for 210 new devices.
  • CO2 emissions will be reduced dramatically and service- costs will be reduced with 34%
