As 2025 comes to an end, it is a good moment to pause and reflect.

Not just on what was built or shipped, but on how Managed Print continues to evolve and what customers truly value when complexity increases.

One thing became very clear this year. More data does not automatically lead to better decisions.

From information to understanding

Across many conversations with partners and customers in 2025, the same theme kept appearing.

  • Most print environments already generate a lot of information.

  • Counters, alerts, service logs, costs, and reports are everywhere.

The real challenge is turning all of that into something people actually understand and trust without having to spend time over and over again.

When insight is fragmented or arrives too late, teams end up reacting instead of advising.

When insight is clear and shared, conversations change.

That shift has been central to how we see Managed Print today.

Managed Print as a shared discipline

In 2025, we saw more organisations move away from viewing print management as a technical task owned by a single role.

Instead, Managed Print is increasingly treated as a shared discipline.

  • Service teams need visibility to plan smarter visits.

  • Sales teams need confidence to advise rather than guess.

  • Management needs clarity to make long-term decisions.

  • Customers want transparency and simple explanations they can trust.

When everyone looks at the same picture, collaboration becomes natural.

Simplicity builds trust

Another clear lesson from 2025 is that simplicity matters more than ever.

Not simplicity in capability, but simplicity in how insight is presented and used.

The tools that gained the most trust were not the ones with the most options. They were the ones who made it easy to understand what mattered and why.

That is where trust is built. Not through complexity, but through clarity.

Looking ahead

As we move into a new year, the direction is clear. Managed Print will continue to move:

  • from reacting to advising

  • from reports to shared understanding

  • from isolated tools to connected workflows

  • from complexity to confidence

  • from stand alone to much more integrated

The goal is not to do more. The goal is to make better decisions with less effort.

That is the mindset we carry with us into the year ahead.

Thank you to everyone who shared conversations, challenges, and ideas with us in 2025.

We look forward to continuing the journey together.
